EYE ON THE SKY: SUN IN SCORPIO NOV. 16-DEC. 15
The Sun moved into Scorpio today and ends its difficult month in Libra. Scorpio is the natural 8th sign of the zodiac owned by Mars and Ketu and represents the mystery of life, sexual or kundalini energy, the occult. It is a water sign and deep connected to intuition and higher spiritual knowledge.
Saturn is transiting through Scorpio around 22 degrees now and will not be happy with the Sun’s transit now as the Sun will burn it up. The first part of Scorpio is connected to the constellation of Anuradha which runs (Scorpio 3.20-16.40) and the Sun transit there between Nov. 19-Dec. 2nd. The constellation of Anuradha is connected to Mitra, the God of Light and this transit can awaken one connection to the Divine. This can really enliven and awaken spiritual life. If you were born Nov. 19-Dec. 2nd, you may have a strong spiritual inclination which will be enlivened by this transit.  The Sun is the planet of the soul and of expressing ones power at this time is very important and the goal is not to get immersed in materialism but remember one’s deep connection to the Divine and use the awakened Kundalini of Scorpio energy for higher consciousness. Saturn’s ownership of this constellation can bring great teachings of cosmic truths if you can lean to move to the highest level of knowledge of responsibility for the planet and Self-realization.
Still the darker side of this transit will be felt after Thanksgiving. The movement toward Saturn peaking into Dec. 10th can bring up some conflicts with government, leadership or employers and so this is not a time to avoid taxes or go into rebellion against the police and that is why the rioting is probably going to peak by Dec. 10-11th as the heat of this transit increases fear and frustration and rebellion against authority. Use the pain and frustration to be spurred to higher realms and God-Realization which the first part of the transit inspires.
Saturn becomes combust and burned by the Sun after Nov. 23rd and into late Dec. so at least until Thanksgiving the higher energy of this transit may come up and can lead to strong and passionate action for a great good, higher intuition, leadership, healing talents and success with friends. As the Sun gets closer to Saturn and gets impacted the darker energy of the the Sun in Scorpio may come out leading to jealousy, possessiveness, bluntness, scandalous behavior, cruelty, spitefulness and potential heart problems and reproductive problems as it moves to conjunction into Dec. 1oth. I often find that blood pressure can go up when the Sun is approaching Saturn for some people so watch your heart health and exercise routine between Nov. 24-Dec. 28th.
The Sun will move into Jyestha nakshatra Dec. 3rd-16th which is more material and sensual part of the sign and the conjunction with Saturn into Dec. 10th will bring out the darker side of Scorpio. Fear will be activated and a climax in authority tension may be felt at this time. Saturn requires being patient and not raging out over things you cannot change. The US Rahu period running for another 17 years is going to bring about deep transformation for the US.
The US is a Sagittarius country so Sun in Scorpio is a 12th house transit of change, frustration and loss so be patient until Sun goes over the US ascendant on Dec. 21st for a deeper rebirth.
So move toward a spiritual Thanksgiving, give thanks, help others and then expect more tension after Thanksgiving and make sure to stay on top of your meditation and yoga to stay balanced and turn off the TV and look for the deeper truths of what is happening in our world.
