EYE ON THE SKY: LARGE PLANETARY CLIMAXES –VENUS/JUPITER OPPOSITION AND MORE
Its been a volatile week in the world and earlier in the week, the moon was hemmed in between Saturn and Ketu earlier in the week and their was almost and exact aspect within 2 degrees of those planets. This week we have three planetary aspects that represent climaxes in the energy and we have written about two of them already. Today Jupiter and Venus are opposing each other between Virgo and Pisces and Saturn is exactly being trines by Uranus in two difficult parts of the sky. As we move into next week on Thursday , we get Pluto squaring Venus exactly between Sagittarius and Pisces and we will write more about that one next week.
Personally I have been challenged with computer glitches from Saturn/Uranus and Mercury/Rahu and lots of miscommunication happening. There is also a lot of intensity that we have written about with Saturn retrograde in the gandanta or drowning region of Sagittarius aspecting Ketu tightly and bringing up a lot of guilt and regret about the past to heal. At the same time I have had a lot of support to get through the problems and have good things happen and I think the exalted Venus and opposition with Jupiter has been supportive and is also helping to manifest success despite chaos on some level.
On the bright side, the Jupiter aspect on Venus creates value and worth for things connected to Venus so it is a supportive time for appreciating your spouse and marriage. I found myself buying roses for my wife this week which does not happen enough. Jupiter’s aspecting on Mars has create treating teammates or co-workers with dignity.
Jupiter opposite Venus is supporting the desire for the beautiful and the elegant so watch your credit card spending at the mall this weekend and so be careful and not careless as this aspect can lead to squandering money or wasting valuable resources.
Sometimes Jupiter/Venus oppositions can lead to emotional turmoil in relationship so make sure that trust and respect are there. Jupiter wants freedom to move and Venus can demand emotional involvement and this can lead to conflict. The energy is there for a smooth resolution and we have the benefit of the exalted Venus until May 31st.
I think we have to focus on being grateful and praising despite the weak Saturn’s desire to grumble and complain about everything that is going wrong. The good news is the benefics are happy and supporting us on many levels and this will not be the case as much in June so always thank the Divine, help others, support others in need and donate to your favorite charities.
If we search deeply there is a underlying core of well being there that we have to grasp onto and it is there with Venus exalted in Pisces and Mars and Venus and Saturn aspected by Jupiter by sign. We have to tap into that core and not buy into the mental worries of the mind and the core anxiety that Saturn will continue to cause until November–and it is just doing its job.
If you are challenged, we have to reach to Pluto and surrender and Divine will. Fighting “what is” and saying it shouldn’t be this way plagues the mind and cause our current discomfort. We do not have to keep going through what we are going through. Surrender is the key. Once you surrender to the ineffable and once you take it upon yourself to rely on the grace of God, then you have a chance to be free. It does take a shift of the mind and doing enough meditation practice so that we can reach back and find that Lightness of Being. If we do not go there we are going to get gripped by Saturn’s grumbling and complaining.
And still we have to avoid spiritual by-pass and be real with what is going on in our life and that is what Saturn is requiring of us now and somehow reach back to the power of the very strong Jupiter in the sky (exalted in D-9) that is reminding us that we are safe and always protected and taken care. There is underlying it all, an ineffable lightness of Being. If we can let go of the heavy luggage and baggage of the mind that is carrying a 100 pound suitcase through the airport when we just need a 20 pound carry-on. Let go of the baggage. What will be, will be. . Find the those unbearable moments of lightness and love to fall back on or you will be doomed to the gnawing and complaining mind. Find the sweetness of Venus and trust in the Divine which is strong in Jupiter now while they are there to give us light this month as June looks more challenging. Have a good weekend!
