EYE ON THE SKY:Â CLEARING SOON
Hopefully you have survived the rocky storms of the past weeks and the grace of Jupiter has really helped and lifted up the fallen Sun and I think the exchange of houses, Parivartana Yoga, between Virgo and Libra, and Mercury and Venus has softened the blow of the past few weeks.
We have a number of changes of signs coming this week with Mercury moving into Scorpio and Venus moving into Libra on Nov 2nd.  The latter is a life saver and kicks in all kinds of wonderful energies including elegance, being well-respected, artistic creativity, balance in thought and deep, good intuition, passion, enthusiasm, comfort, luxury and humanitarian enterprises. Of course Libra rising will feel this most as it is a Malavya Yoga but Capricorns and Aquarians will benefit greatly from as will Geminis and Virgos.  Enemies of Venus, like Mars and Jupiter and the Sun may have challenges with the transit.
Saturn move out of the most difficult area of the Sagittarius (0-0.40) by Friday but still in trouble and causing delays and frustration. It is conjunct Mars in Aries Navamsha in the D-9 (hidden qualities) and maybe causing a lot of anger and frustration to spill over. Go slowly and be patient and accept delays. Saturn always wants us to be patient with problems and Mars wants to push through like the reckless warrior that he is and this can cause deep frustration. Mantra for the week is patience. By Nov 4th, Mars is away from that minor affliction.
Still Mars has to deal with Mercury. Once in a while we get what Western Astrologers call a mutual reception or exchange of signs and in Vedic astrology it is know as a Parivatana Yoga (abbreviated PVY). It can be very powerful and it allows a connection and association between the houses involved and is often stronger than a planetary aspect. With Mars in Virgo and Mercury into Scorpio on Nov. 2-25th, we have a yoga in transit being formed.
What does it mean? Mars and Mercury are the most bitter enemies. At best it may create quick-witted speaking, strength in technical and mechanical and medical work and being quick to solve problems. I often find in finance it may lead to deals and corporate take-overs. Mercury is relatively unafflicted and channeling the Jupiter’s energy in Vishaka Nakshatra (Libra 20-Scorpio 3.20) but then channel’s Saturn’s darker energy in Anaradha (Scorpio 3.21-16.40)
The dark side of Mars/Mercury associations is that it creates angry moods, slow deliberate thinking, strong achievement and ambition, aggressive confrontations and arguments, self-centeredness and ruthlessness around achieving ones goals. Also you have to be very careful to not get into heated arguments while driving as this can lead to reckless behavior and potential accidents. I often find that accidents are a pinnacle of rage that bubbles up in arguments. So, if this happens, pullover, and fight it out– but not while driving. You may need to be most careful here particularly if you have a Mars/Mercury association in your natal chart.
The Sun moves out of its least favorite constellation of the year, Swati (Libra 6.40-19.59) on Nov. 6th and into Vishaka (Libra 20-Scorpio 3.20) where it will have renewed confidence and optimism being connected and channeling Jupiter. We will write more about this this weekend. Jupiter will be free from the Sun’s combustion by Nov 9th and that will be another lift.
So still a heavy few days left with Venus and Mercury at the end of their signs where they do not have much energy and Mars and Saturn connected in an angry and frustrated place but we can see the dawn coming and we have almost made it through the most difficult month of the year. Better times are coming and Saturn will be free from the first pada of Mula (Sagittarius 0-13.20) after Thanksgiving. Hang in there!
