EYE ON THE SKY: RAHU TRINE VENUS AND MERCURY
Rahu trines Venus in Pisces at 20.19 degrees on March 18 in the true node system but the 3 degree orb is tight between March 16-19th. Rahu and Venus and Mercury are good friends and the Venus aspect is particularly good.
Rahu sends a friendly aspect wave to Venus on March 18th as she sits in the liberation house of Pisces. This is a transit of fullness of love and prosperity. Venus is very happy in her place of exaltation and this transit brings with it the promotion of all-good in one’s affairs, expanded pleasures, and a focus on women’s issues. These heightened and expanded feelings, albeit with a shadowy tint from Rahu, will entice one towards unique and unconventional practices in the areas of spirituality and healing. This is a good time for self-care and seeking out unique ways to recover from stress. You might look into learning alternate or holistic therapies such as Reiki, energy and chakra healing, acupuncture treatments, or Chinese needling or discovering a different spiritual path. Now is a great time to be selfless, carefree and to offer your services to others by volunteering your time in spiritual havens, educational institutes, and other charitable organizations.
There is always a dark side. Rahu is a bit weak in transit being in the Sagittarius section of Cancer so some of its darker energy may come out in terms of more sensual cravings for sexual stimulation or food vices or buying too many luxury items on the internet that you do not need. It gives a strong need for comfort and luxury but with Venus exalted in Pisces, it will bring success in Venusian pursuits. Still stay away from the extra piece of cheesecake or the mall.
Rahu is also trining (120 degrees) Mercury because Mercury is conjunct Venus into March 19th The orb of 3 degrees for Mercury is March 15-20th. This combination usually heightens intellectual depth and psychological probing. It can create some nervous energy also but Venus will soothe that out a bit. There may be quick wit and increased communication ability and luckily Venus is cancelling out Mercury’s debilitation but still Mercury is a bit slow with a busy mind. It can also increase intuitive powers in Pisces on the bright side. It may increase obsession with technological communications which may be overwhelming at the exact point of the aspect.
Again, charts are very individual and we do not ever want to stereotype people by sign but sometimes its a way of putting one’s finger right away on a core problem for the person’s entire life.
