JUPITER IN ANURADHA /ANTARES: SPIRITUAL WISDOM AND DEVOTION

EYE ON THE SKY: JUPITER MOVES INTO ANURADHA/ANTARES IN SCORPIO: OCT 27-DEC. 25TH

Jupiter moves into the constellation of Anuradha on Saturday, Oct. 27th and stays there for a few months until Christmas.  This constellation is know most for the fixed star of Antares which is more at the end of the constellation.

The constellation of Anuradha is connected to Mitra, the God of Light and this transit can awaken one connection to the Divine.  This can really enliven and awaken spiritual life. If your Sun is in this constellation and you  were born Nov. 19-Dec. 2nd, you may have a strong spiritual inclination which will be enlivened by this transit.  If you rising or moon sign are in this constellation, you may have the following qualities:

  1. You are  easy to get along with and liked by many; this is because in Greek mythology, the constellation is associated with Venus/Aphrodite and the heavenly spiritual.
  2.  You my have a deep wonder about the mysteries of creation
  3. You are likely to be loyal, loving and have deep love of travel
  4.  You love to share and spread spiritual knowledge with your fellow beings.
  5. You have a deep capacity for love but may have trouble discriminating on the path.

The key to this constellation is to walk the razor path and keep your purity in order to get enlightened but the Scorpio energies may test your sexual energy.  You also need to overcome physical deprivation energies from childhood and not fall into passive/aggressive behavior.  You must find the courage from Mars to foster a path of Divine love embodied in the mythology of Radha’s love for Krishna.

People born under this constellation are good net-workers who foster communication between different groups and are often gifted in math, physics, astrology and occult sciences.  The constellation also fosters of revolutionaries that rebel against out-dated ways of thinking and being.

Jupiter transiting this constellation is likely to bring out all of the positive qualities discussed above. Its connection to Saturn here will promote realism in spirituality.  With Saturn in Mula nakshatra until Thanksgiving, it may bring out the deeper transformational energy of  letting go energy there and bring support and wisdom in letting go of loved ones and material burdens. After Thanksgiving, the energy will be more powerful with Saturn moving into Venus’s constellation of Purvashada (Sagittarius 13.20-26.40)

Saturn’s ownership of this constellation can bring great teachings of cosmic truths if you can lean to move to the highest level of knowledge of responsibility for the planet and Self-realization. Still Saturn in transit is still connected to Ketu and Mula where old karma gets dug to to heal so it will not be without some pain and frustration.  The expansive energy of Jupiter in Vishakha that we are leaving will get a more realistic twist in Saturn’s star now but this is a very positive star filled with great spiritual wisdom and the combination of Jupiter and Saturn always fosters deep spiritual advancement.  Like our cover photo, the wisdom of the elders will be blessing us with this transit.  Jupiter will retrograde in Jyestha so we only get 2 wonderful months of this transit so enjoy!
