EYE ON THE YEAR:Â YOUR PLANNERÂ
While I am not wanting to predict wars and falls of Presidents and global economic disasters for the sake of being sensational, it is useful to know the astrological weather for the year and when to plan a picnic and when to watch out for tornado warnings. I have looked at the astrology for the year and here are some highlights that might help you with your planning:
JUPITER DIRECT: Jupiter is direct in Aquarius until April 13th and then direct in Pisces until July 28th. Jupiter governs expansion and I always find marketing goes well during Jupiter direct and then runs into problems with Jupiter retrograde which this year is between July 28-Nov. 23rd. Get your marketing done early in the year and expect set-backs from August – November. Every year I know this but inevitably, Jupiter retrograde comes and there all kinds of blocks to completing marketing projects happen. New Businesses are better started when the Sun is between Capricorn on Jan. 14 and Cancer on July 16th for the Northern Hemisphere when the longer days of the Sun are waxing. Still check with an astrologer to get a good election date.
SATURN IN LATE DEGREES: Saturn is fiercer and causes more problem in the last 10 degrees of a sign which starts Jan. 21-2022 to April 29th until Saturn moves into Aquarius. Except for Carpricorn rising, Saturn is a stronger malefics in Capricorn and cause more problems and is more of a problem than in softer signs like Sagittarius and Pisces which can neutralize it’s malefic influences.  Saturn retrograde is even more problematic and this year it is retrograde between June 4th and Oct 22nd and the combination of the last 20 degrees of Capricorn with the retrograde makes July 11-Oct. 22nd a difficult time. If you are in a Saturn period or Saturn is a problem planet for you like Cancer or Leo rising, then be ready for my storm and learn the lessons of Saturn and responsibility, hard work to sail through the energy.
RAHU IN ARIES:Â APRIL 12TH 2022- DEC. 2023:Â THE MEAN NODE SYSTEM
Rahu takes on the energy of whatever planet and sign that it associates with. It has been exalted in Taurus and when it moves into Aries it will create out of balance egos, imbalanced competition and increase aggression and violence. Rahu in Aries wants to stamp it’s authority on the world and given our out-of-control politicians, this transit is not welcome. If you are not in a freedom-loving area, think about moving where liberty and freedom are valued.
JUPITER COJUNCT NEPUTNE:Â Â APRIL 12TH –TOGETHER STRONGLY MARCH-SEPT 2022Â
They will be together much of the year from late March into early September and this is an inflation signature. We already have problems but expect it will get worse. The exact conjunction is April 12th. The bright side of this conjunction is support for artistic creativity and spirituality but also the desire to escape the harsh reality of Covid and political oppression will at best lead to spiritual bypassing or turning to meditation and at the worse toward escapism into substance addiction.
MARS AND VENUS UNITE:Â FEB-APRIL 2022
Mars and Venus stay in the same signs together for about 3 months starting in Sagittarius and continuing into Capricorn and Aquarius. At best this can lead to artistic passion or sexual passion and at it’s worst it can lead to the battle of the sexes. Get on top of your relationship issues early with counseling, understanding and be patient and remember its all about listening, giving and taking and working together.
MAY–BEST ASTROLOGICAL WEATHER OF THE YEAR
Spring comes and the Sun exalted in Aries April 14-May 14th and Venus is exalted in Pisces April 27-May 23rd and Mercury in Taurus April 24-July 1st will soothe troubled nerves and thaw out the rough first four months of the year. Good month to plan vacations and weddings if you get a good muhurtha and probably a good month to start a new business.
LATE JULY/EARLY AUGUST:Â MOST DIFFICULT TIME OF THE YEAR
Mars moves into Aries June 26th and stays there until August 10th. It moves toward Rahu and Uranus with Rahu conjunct Uranus on July 26th and Mars joining the two exactly into August 1-2nd. This is extremely explosive for rioting, violence, war, revolution and we would have to do a lot of work to see what countries are most impacted.  Good time to not plan a major trip and learn how to control anger through exercise and meditation lest it get out of control.
