RAHU IN PISCES: Â NOV 2023 TO MAY 2025 Â
Rahu is in Pisces starting Oct. 31st in the mean node system and Nov. 28th in the True Node system. Rahu will impact the water signs Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio with its aspects most but also Aries still with its sneak 30-degree aspect. Ketu will impact Virgo most and has no aspects according to my tradition because aspects are connected to desire and Ketu only desires liberation. We have a series of articles coming out about these very important transits.
The North and South Nodes, Rahu and Ketu, create eclipses and govern our desire for nature in the material world and the desire to leave the world and discover the Divine.
Jupiter is the one planet that can tame Rahu and hence Rahu in Pisces can create a bit more stability for the node and calm its craziness more than Mars could with Rahu in Aries. Rahu in Pisces can support good results in the material planes.
Ketu is considered the co-ruler of Pisces and hence it can promote energy around enlightenment and moving toward liberation. The dark side of Rahu in Pisces is that it may crave enlightenment and spiritual experiences too much and fail to stay grounded in practical matters.  In many ways, Rahu in Pisces is a bit out of place in a very mystical sign and Rahu desires material comforts and more stuff. The key is to turn to spirituality and realize that it is the basis for material growth. Because Rahu travels backward through the zodiac, Rahu entering the 12th house is almost starting a new journey.  Â
The first part of the transit is more afflicted until late Dec. in the true node sector when Rahu gets out of the Gandanta area (Pisces 27-30).  When the nodes are on the edge, they can peer into an alternate universe. Psychology gets eerie weird and distorted.   Rahu when afflicted by being sandhi or on the edge can be more anxious or paranoid, feels constrained by forces beyond his control, victimized by overpowering forces, may have more nightmares or difficult dreams, or be a bit manic-depressive. If you have your Sun or Moon 29-1 degree of the water signs/air sign juncture in your natal chart or if you are Aquarius rising which is co-ruled by Rahu or if you are in a Rahu period or a Dasha period where Rahu is the nakshatra lord. It could also lead to emptiness leading toward addictive patterns, frustration, sorrow, dejection, psychological intensity, and mental anguish.
Rahu in Pisces can create scattered energy, chaotic mental activity, intensification of dreamy states, strong intuition, mystical visions, and utopian thinking. This transit can support healers, artists, psychics people doing humanitarian work, and film-makers with great creative energies.
If you have Rahu in natal Pisces, you are compassionate and a loving soul and your challenge in this lifetime is to accept the imperfections of others and not become a victim. You tend to be very philanthropic and are obsessed with your spiritual growth. You may benefit from foreigners using creativity to get support for your needs. If Rahu is afflicted by Saturn or Mars or other malefic influences, you may not be good with finances, get into trouble with the government around fines and penalties have toxic relationships, and be dependent on friends.   Some of these energies will surface in transit.
Rahu will first transit backward through the constellation of Revati (Pisces 16.40-29.59) until July 5, 2024, in the true node system.  Revati is the final constellation of the 27 in the zodiac and is connected to the quest for liberation and enlightenment.  That involves acceptance of where we are in our lives, the people around us, and the crazy world that we live in.  Revati’s ruling deity is Pushan, who rules death and rebirth and ferries us to other worlds. Rahu in Revati quests even more deeply for enlightenment and spiritual truth. It is important to fully go for higher consciousness and more meditation and sacrifice during this transition so that Rahu can complete its journey.
