ASTRO WEATHER:Â APRIL 27-MAY 15
Some of the heaviness will slowly leave this week as we end the three degree orb of Venus conjunct Rahu by April 28th although Saturn is still a problem this week. By May 2, Venus will finally be 3 degrees away from Saturn on Friday May 2, Venus is conjunct Neptune for the 3rd time on Friday, May 3rd increasing romantic fantasy and artistic creativity. This influence will continue and will be great for all artists and songwriters and Venus conjunct Rahu also enhances creative energy.
Mercury moved into Revati Nakshatra (Pisces 16.40-29.59) on April 27th and that means it is past the deepest point of debilitation and it is in its own Nakshatra which promotes moksha and letting go. Venus is still in the same sign as Mercury and this has made the Mercury debilitation not as difficult as it might have been. Still Mercury does not move into Aries until May 6th and is in the difficult final degrees of Pisces around May 5-6th where deep emotional transformation is needed.
Saturn moves into its own nakshatra of Uttarbhadrapada (Pisces 3.20-16.40) on April 27th where it gets more practical about spiritual matters in the sign of Pisces, where movement toward liberation and escaping the wheel of karma wants to happen. This transit happens until Oct 3rd when Saturn will retrograde one more time into Purvabhadrapada (Aquarius 20.00-Pisces 3.20) . Â The challenge of the transit is balance practice every day work matters with the Piscean desire and quest for spiritual liberation.
Pluto goes retrograde on May 4th until Oct 14, 2025. Retrograde malefics are more powerful and Pluto, the master of transformation in the sign of Capricorn, connected to Government, will continue to push seriously getting a grip on budgets and governmental inefficiencies. It will loses the positive support of Jupiter, which goes into Gemini on May 14th, and this may create even more backlash and uproar around proposed changes.Â
Mars moves into Ashlesha Nakshatra on May 12th (Cancer 16.40-29.59) which will bring out even more fatigue and snarly anger and Mars finally moves into Leo June 6th bringing more energy and movement into our tired life after this long stay in Cancer.Â
Jupiter moves into Gemini on May 14-Oct 19th for an accelerated visit as it moves faster than normal speed decreasing its positive impact on Mercury and Gemini. Still should support trade, commerce and communications and expansion of biotech, AI and other technologies with its friendly aspect to Aquarius this year.
Overall, the US is in a transition and transformation phase that was ushered in by the US Pluto return. This takes time and while the media would like to paint a picture of the world ending, there are positive things happening with the Venus in Pisces and the negotiations with Russia and Iran finally happening after years. Let’s hope they fructify before Mars and Ketu are conjunct for explosive anger outbursts and violence in late July.  Â
