MERCURY IN AQUARIUS–JAN. 30-APRIL 7TH– A PROLONGED VISIT

EYE ON THE SKY: MERCURY IN AQUARIUS JAN. 30-APRIL 7TH

Mercury moves into Aquarius on  Thursday, Jan. 30th and is weak in degrees for a day on Jan. 30-31st   creating more nervousness, worry, out-of-step thinking or being stuck in small details.   The transit is afflicted by Rahu Feb. 10th in the true node system and within 3 degrees Feb 6-12th.   

Mercury goes retrograde in Aquarius on Feb. 16-March 9th mostly in Rahu’s constellation of Satabhishak (Aquarius 6.40-20.00) so we are going to have a strong Rahu/Mercury connection for a long time and because they are good friends it can augment technological genius and innovate thought so a good time for writing that computer code.  The problem is that Rahu is not ethical so we could have more computer piracy and reports of major hacking and inevitably make sure your ransomeware is working and do not be surprised to get a bogus request.    On the dark side, Rahu/Mercury connections can create depression  and lack of confidence for Geminis and Virgos and Aquarius may be impacted also and there may be more phobias or mental imbalances arising with the trine from Rahu and the association with Satabhishak.  The constellation is also connected to biotechnology and healing and we may get some breakthroughs announced during this time.  Aquarius is one of the more karmic signs of the zodiac as it ruled by Saturn and Rahu and it can bring up deep suffering in its darker moments but can tend toward great technological advancement, healing and deep philosophical and astrological probings.

Let’s say it’s a complicated month for Virgo and Gemini rising signs and Gemini moons and people if you have a  lot of malefic natal chart planets in Aquarius like Rahu, Saturn, Mars or Ketu. For Gemini it is a 9th house transit support spirituality, foreign travel and for Virgos its it is 6th house transit which may bring up disputes and minor illness and problems with co-workers.

Stay on top of computers and electronics this month with so many influences on Mercury and Aquarius and make sure to be redundant with communications as you may be misunderstood at times during the month causing problems.
