EYE ON THE US : FOCUS ON US IN SADE SAT AND NEPTUNE IN THE CONSTELLATION OF PURVABHADRAPADA
Having done Mundane astrology since 1988, I have always seen the importance of the outer planets for predicting world events. We have written extensively about Pluto in Capricorn and the negative impact of Saturn on it in creating Draconian power surges in our world leaders who suddenly have God complexes in exercising their will to force people to stay at home. They mean well for the health of their people and safety of the public but people’s job’s and income are being destroyed in a world where the economy has been on edge since the last economic meltdown. There are no easy answers. We do think that we will get relief into the fall but we will have a second round into 2021 triggered by the winter eclipses and Pluto going back into Capricorn Dec, 31, 2020 for the next 20 years. We will be forced to make major changes in our life.
The US Chart (July 4, 1776, 6:13 pm, Philadelphia) has an Aquarian Moon at 7 degrees in the constellation of Satabhishak (Aquarius 6.40-20.00) and with Saturn in Capricorn, the US is going through its 7.5 years Sade Sat. The most difficult part of this always the transit of Saturn through the 25th Nakshatra from natal moon which is know as the Mananas Nakshatra or the constellation of Uttarashadha (Sagittarius 26.40-Capricorn 10.00) which governs the collective mind of the US. Saturn stays in this constellation until Jan. 23. 2020 and then moves into the 26th and 27th Nakshatras from the natal moon which are usually easier transits and usually there is a rest period from the intense 25th Nakshatra. Usually when this happens in the person’s chart, they feel very agitated and want to change everything and move and change jobs and change relationships to get out of the anxiety of Saturn going through this constellation. With the US it is like parts of our society want to throw out our Bill of Rights and our constitution and move toward socialism and deeper equality. This can be a good thing as there is a lot of sociological-economic imbalances to redress, but there are no easy answer and we have seen communism fail around the world. Let’s hope that Bernie’s vision of creating a system like Norway has could somehow find its way with all the changes that are happening. He has not been given a chance for leadership again so not sure how his Vision will come to fruition.
The next vulnerable position for Saturn over the natal moon is not until March 2023 when Saturn goes into Satabishak nakshatra and then goes over the natal moon. Part of this collective craziness is I think very connected to the both Pluto and Saturn in the 25th nakshatra. Unfortunately, Pluto does not move out of the 25th Nakshatra until Feb. 2026 and natal Pluto return at 6.49 Capricorn is very strong in April/May 2023 and then again in April-June 2024 and we have talked about the US being in a end of empire cycle with the Pluto return . If the US can transform it can continue but if not it could lead to a United States unlike what we have know. Part of me feels that the US could end up a group of regional nations and turn into something like the former Yugoslavia as the disparity between the values of the West Coast an the Heartland and the South and the East Coast may not be reconcilable without strong leadership. If Trump wins the election, certain regions will riot and if Biden wins, not sure he can unite the nation and the chart for his health does not look great in a few years and a survey of people in the US found that 40% think he has dementia already. His VP choice will be crucial.
The US is in a Rahu/Saturn period from Dec. 20, 2020 to Oct 2023. This combination is usually high anxiety and paranoia when it hits on a personal level and not sure what it will create on a national level given the context of Covid and racial inequality issues up big-time. All of the above combinations suggest that the current unrest and change in the United States will continue very intensely for the next 3 years.
Gemini is a sign connected with history and Rahu in Gemini until Sept. 2020 is creating fog and illusion about the truth of history as we watch even statues of major positive figures being toppled as was the case in New York of the . The education of our youth, lack of civics being taught in our high schools and the distortions being taught in our universities is starting to show up. Absolutely we should right the wrongs of the past and slavery but do we destroy our heritage because of the errors of leaders from many years ago? Some people have misunderstood me around this. I of course do not support our history of slavery or rape or Nazism and my Dad was a holocaust survivor. I used to think that the study of history was useless but it is important because we have to understand the past in order to not repeat it in the future. The issue is not the statues but the failure of proper education in our school system and in our colleges to allow us to understand our heritage and explore all sides rather than move toward indoctrination rather than critical thinking. When we see communist take-overs, ,we get the destruction of statues and the wiping out of history to conform to the party line. Life is not all black and white but we are very polarized now and if anyone stands up to challenge any of this they are labeled a racist or white supremacist. There is some of this happening now. High school civics and understanding the Bill of Rights used to be required in the schools and it is not and our youth do not understand the values that our country is founded on. Now with Covid we have had the Bill of Rights trampled on and no one seems to say anything.
We cannot destroy Thomas Jefferson just because he was a slave holder. He contributed so much to our origins and his writings and insights are priceless. Everyone has some good and bad in them and to destroy his statues because he held slaves is missing the point. I agree that Christopher Columbus was not a good person but do we ignore his questing and exploration which was greater than our mission to the moon to collect a lot of rocks? We have a country because he had the courage and skill to discover the unknown. We cannot condemn past historical figures without seeing both sides and we are taking them out of context as the world was so different 300 and 500 years ago. The US will easily be judged in future years for our destruction of Iraq and Syria and Libya and creating the refugee crisis and this occurred under both Republican and Democratic Presidents but does the press ever touch this issue? History is always ugly when you look at it years later and the invasion of Iraq and the weapons of mass destruction lies are easy to remember now but who condemns Obama or Hilary for their policies around Libya?
So where do we go? There is collective free will. There are light workers and spiritual beings hard at work trying to create a positive outcome and our own collective free will also has to make good choices and see beyond all the smoke and mirrors. I am trying to stay neutral and my Sun in Pisces wants to feel optimistic that everything will be all right but the next 5 months seem crucial for getting it right and returning to law and order and a clear vision but there are forces that want to create a new revolution but unlike 1968, there is much too much chaos in the air and not the clarity and vision that is needed. I am trying to be objective as to what I see and at the same time the future is not totally decided yet.

PART 2: NEPTUNE IN PURAVABHARDRAPADA (AQUARIUS 20.00-PISCES 3.20)
We do not get to write about Neptune very often because it moves so slowly staying 14 years in a sign but it is in Purvabhadrapada (Aquarius 20-Pisces 3.20) known by Western astronomers as Pegasus. The last time we had this transit was March 1853-April 1859. It will stay in this constellation until March 2024!
Neptune is now connected to Jupiter in this constellation in transit and is going to increase psychic and intuitive energies and spiritual idealism. With the positive connection to Jupiter through the nakshatra, it will promote idealism, universality, compassion and spiritual bypassing where we shirk reality and use religion and spirituality to escape our personal problems. When Jupiter is weak in Capricorn (ie until June 29th and Nov. 2020-Nov. 2021) it will channel Jupiter’s over-optimism and the two planets together can create too much false hope and not being grounded in reality.
On the level of mundane astrology, Neptune is connected to schemes, inflation, conspiracies, grand governmental plans so everything will get bigger in scope for growth ideals in this constellation. Neptune can deflate these bubbles, but the high hopes of Neptune/Jupiter connections can lead to mass inflation. When Jupiter goes into Aquarius April 2021-April 2022, we will not be able to avoid the hyperinflation that many in the world are worrying about.
Neptune also rules socialism, so the Bernie movement will probably come back strongly over the next 4 years and clearly this will happen as more and more people are off of work and needed government help. The problem is that socialism often devolves into communism and then dictatorships as we have seen with the history of the world and currently in countries like Venezuela.
The darker side of the constellation of Pegasus is secret societies, sex scandals and conspiracies and we have to be concerned that the” Deep State” will be emboldened with this transit to create more Neptunian fog and many think that is what is going on with the lock-downs. If you follow the world of You Tube we have talks of a secret war being fought against the sex traffickers and child pornographers which we saw a bit of with Jeffrey Epstein and which were rumored in the Pizzagate scandal which the media has squashed for the most part now. Now it is coming out strongly with the capture of Ghislaine Maxwell.
Part of Neptune in this constellation is to create fog and lack of clarity. There is a huge battle going on and its hard to know what to believe. Is the country being liberated from the deep state and their dark world embodied in this this constellation or is Donald Trump the anti-Christ destroying the planet? Many think it will end soon but the length of this transit into 2024 means it may take longer. Usually the truth is somewhere in the middle but our world is very polarized.
This leaves us wondering do stay in doors forever now and let our government throw token helicopter money at us or do we go out and protest and die from spreading the illness? Both choices are terrible. Is Robert Kennedy Jr. correct in fighting Bill Gates and the vaccine crusade or do we hopefully wait for a vaccine that may never happen as we have 30 mutations of the virus already and we may never find one.
While I have my opinions, the point is that the Neptunian fog and media spinning from Rahu in Gemini has distorted our ability to see the truth and not sure the media or the government want us to know the truth. A few years back I talked about Neptune in this constellation (Aquarius 20.00-Pisces 3.20) and noted that we would have more sex scandals as the dark side of this constellation is connected with negative human traits including paranoia, pessimism, debauchery, violence, cruelty and erratic sexual behavior. There are many who believe the Vatican is part of a huge sex scandal and much of that has come out now with Priests who are pedophiles being asked to leave. But many feel there is more. The Jeffrey Epstein revelations and the continues revelations of the ME TOO movement are a reminder that these sexual scandals are unfolding and may not be over until 2024. Saturn going into this constellation into April 2024 may finally end this. But in the meantime, where is the truth? Neptune is too busy creating fogs of illusion and leaves us not knowing what to believe>
In 2017, we noted a climax with all of this going into 2019-2020. It is happening now and will not have an easy resolution. It seems that it will continue strongly and really climax into the spring of 2023. Major societal and economic changes are happening and they are ultimate for the good but very painful in the process. Help others, donate to charity and continue to search for the truth.
