Venus in Libra through Dec. 24^th—

Neptune Stationary Direct in Pisces on Dec. 6^th.

Mercury is trined by Jupiter on Dec. 7^th

Venus opposing Jupiter into Dec. 9^th.

Jupiter exalted in the D9/Navamsha Chart through Feb. 1^st.

All the above increase optimism and expansive energy and while there could be a dark side with too much spending,  all of the above are welcome after the last month of Venus in Virgo.  Better time for relationships, fun, artistic expression, shopping, optimism, and good cheer.

New Moon in Scorpio Dec. 12^th

Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius Dec. 13-Jan. 1^st.

Sun in the Gandanta in Scorpio Dec. 14-16^th

Rahu trines Sun from Pisces to Scorpio Dec. 14-15th

A darker week as the new moon always brings low and depressing energy, particularly in Scorpio where the emotional grunge comes up.   Mercury retrograde is usually good for Geminis and Virgos although Virgos will do better with the 4^th house transit.  You know the drill with Mercury retrograde. The Sun in the Scorpio gandanta is always a difficult time for emotional churning so the week of Dec. 12-16^th is a lay-low week and do not overdo it week.  Rahu trining the Sun can bring up the dark side of ego and false masks and challenges with leadership.

We always appreciate the Sun in Sagittarius which brings in optimism and good cheer for the holidays. Venus in Scorpio can be a bit more intense for Libras and can stir up sexual energies.  The Mercury/Mars planetary war in late Dec. requires patience with travel being careful on the road staying focused and letting anger out so it does not turn into accident.  The Jupiter trine to the Sun will increase holiday optimism.  The Mars/Rahu trine can increase running around too much and outbursts of anger so slow down before the holidays.  The week before and after Jupiter is always filled with optimism and expansion and Jupiter is exalted in the D9 bringing wisdom and spiritual development.
