LATE WINTER/SPRING ASTRO-WEATHER SNEAK PREVIEW

SPRING ASTROLOGICAL PREVIEW  2024

There is great anxiety in the air this year with elections and craziness and many of you are trying to plan your spring and summer vacations.  There is always something happening but we will work on the highlights for the rest of the winter and spring.  Of course these are general observations and how they impact your chart will be dependent on the cycles or dashas you are running and the houses that are impacted.  Sign up for a consultation if you need the information applied to your life.

MERCURY IN PISCES: MARCH 6-25^TH and APRIL 9-MAY 10^TH

RETROGRADE: APRIL 1-APRIL 25^TH

 Usually, we get 3 weeks of Mercury in Pisces where the intellect and communications are challenged. This year, we get a much longer period as Mercury will go retrograde in early Aries and then back into Pisces on April 8th.   The last time we had this was in 2018.  Challenges with traveling, computers, and technology could be up so plan accordingly.  Venus goes into Pisces April 1-23^rd and will cancel the debilitation and help quite a bit.

 

MARS CONJUNCT SATURN IN AQUARIUS: EXACT ON APRIL 10;  STRONG INFLUENCE  APRIL 3-18^TH

This can be a time of deep frustration and indecision for those ruled by Mars and Saturn and it can bring volatile anger and for some may lead to accidents depending on dashas and houses that are impacted.  Will particularly impact Aries and Scorpio rising and Aquarius and Capricorn rising.

 VENUS COMBUST: APRIL 27-JULY 10^TH

When Venus is combust it is not visible in the night sky and hidden by the Sun’s rays.  For Libra and Taurus rising can increase anger, irritability, and fatigue so you have to stay more rested.   The exact conjunction is June 5^th.  The bright side of Venus’s combustion is that it can support spirituality and the quest for the Divine.  Material desires are more often frustrated.  Still, much of the combustion is in Venus’s sign of Taurus so it will have some power.

 

LUNAR ECLIPSE:  MARCH 25^TH  10 VIRGO

This one is minor unless you have key planets at 10 Virgo. 

 SOLAR ECLIPSE ;  APRIL 8^TH : 26 PISCES

 We have written about this and it is a major event as it is impacting the US and hitting Texas for the second time. Eclipses also have delayed impacts and can have an effect until the next solar eclipse in October.

 JUPITER IN TAURUS: MAY 1, 2024- MAY 15, 2025

Jupiter in Aries has been better since it has been aspecting its sign Sagittarius.  Jupiter in Taurus can be too expansive and not grounded in reality about spending and investments and gets out of balance around material life.

 MARS CONJUNCT RAHU:  MAY 20^TH (TRUE NODE) Pisces 20 degrees

This is often a difficult conjunction as increases risk-taking courage and fear at the same time. It may increase athletic prowess and sexual activity but it can lead to more tempers and violence and accidents. 

 URANUS INTO TAURUS: JUNE 1^ST

Uranus is a benefic outer planet but when it changes signs, sudden events can happen and it will be on the edge of the sign at 0-2 degrees until mid-July.

 ON THE POSITIVE SIDE:

VENUS IN PISCES: April 1-25^th

Is always a bright spot of the year for relationships, artistic and creative expression more hope for peace.  It is relatively unafflicted except for the conjunction with Rahu into April 18^th and even that can enhance creativity.

SUN IN ARIES; APRIL 13-MAY 14^TH

Always a positive on the year for leadership, optimism, and confidence.  

MARS IN ARIES:  JUNE 2-JULY 13^TH

Great if you are Aries or Scorpio rising or if Mars is a good planet for you like Cancer or Leo rising.  Always good to have a planet strong but at the same time strong malefics like Mars may like to fight more and create problems.
