KETU IN THE CONSTELLATION OF HASTA/CORVI–AVOID REPRESSED ANGER

KETU  IN HASTA/ CORVI (Virgo10-23.20)

Ketu moved into the constellation of Hasta on Feb. 7th in the true node system and on March 4th in the mean node system and it stays there in the true note system until Dec. 2nd and in the mean node system until Nov. 10th.

Hasta constellation is located between 10-23.20 Virgo and in modern astronomy is connected with the constellation known as Corvi or the 5 stars representing a hand. It is connected more to the Vata or air element as its strong connection to the Mercurial side of quick and light humor. It is of course connected with fields and gardens arts and crafts, stock exchanges, and even amusement parks.   Hasta in Sanskrit means “the hand” but has an alternative translation which means to laugh. Hasta is connected to palmistry and to professions where one uses one’s hands like masseurs and handymen do. The hands also are symbolic of the outstretched hands reaching for the Sun’s rays, which embody the god who gives life and starts the day’s activity.

This constellation is connected to Savitar, a playful deity of tricks and amusements and games and sports, and hence the combination in Virgo.

On the dark side of this constellation, people with their Sun or moon or ascendant in Hasta may be fond of gambling fraud and manipulation depending on afflictions here.    It also promotes serious and sarcastic writing, makes one a jack of all trades and master of none, and supports those who want to work for public welfare and the betterment of the community against authority.

Hasta is ruled by the Moon and Mercury because of the connection to Virgo. This is one of my favorite constellations as it promotes sensitive caring and nurturing and home and family life. Mercury brings out the jovial and light-hearted energy of the moon.

KETU IN HASTA:

In this constellation,  Ketu may feel a great deal of frustration and trouble moving beyond life’s limitations and restrictions. Important to express these frustrations in words and not keep them bottled up.

Ketu can have repressed anger and in the Moon’s constellation it can bring up emotional volatility but if these are processed there could be deep insights and personal growth. Take the time through this long transit for personal transformation.   Virgo supports healing and counseling so work with someone to dive deep into the soul and subconscious and learn to express those abstract feelings and patterns.

Virgo is a constellation that likes purity, order, cleanliness, and high moral standards and Ketu can allow us to move in that direction and improve our lives.

Hasta nakshatra is associated with hands-on healing, astrology, and palmistry so interest in these may be enkindled with new power.  The transit may help practitioners go more deeply into their intuitive realms to bring out higher healing powers.

Hasta is a constellation connected to craftsmanship and working with hands so artisans may enjoy these activities and dive more deeply into their soul to cognize new and spiritual forms that they can create with their hands

With all Mercury/Ketu  combinations  (Virgo is owned by Mercury) we have to curb our sharp tongue, avoid battles not worth fighting, and be careful not to get caught in our head while being active and lose our focus as accidents can result.  Hence if you get into an angry fight or debate, find a way to leave it at home or in the workplace and not take it into your head while you are driving.

Ketu is a fiery planet but it can repress its anger and then suddenly release it at the drop of a hat so make sure you do not let anything build up.
