WEEKLY ASTRO-WEATHER: DEC. 8-15TH
Great anxieties and tensions seem to be whirling in people’s lives. Saturn has been squaring the Sun with a 10th house aspect from Aquarius to Scorpio and that was exact last Wednesday and its influence will start to wane.
In the D9 chart, Saturn and Ketu are conjunct in Pisces Navamsha which is a difficult energy. It is powerful for spiritual development and meditation but often in the D1 chart, it creates a sense of things falling apart and breaking. Saturn is the significator for work and there can be a sense of disruption and giving up on Saturn’s discipline and and one wants to quit one’s job or change careers or recess one’s responsibilities. This may be impacting your marriage also as it is happening in the D9 chart and would impact you most if you have Pisces on the D9 1/7th house axis.
It also creates an intense “why bother” energy and now with Mars retrograde we have to pull our energies out and remember the Nike slogan, “Just do It.” In order to make things happen. This influence will continue until Saturn goes into Purvabhadrapada (Aquarius 20-Pisces 3.20 on Dec. 27th but then Saturn will be in Aries Navamsha where anxiety and laziness is also very high and that will continue until Feb. 2nd. Hence you are going to have to move through laziness and lethargy to make things happen and not give up and move forward.
Uranus retrogrades back into Aries on Dec. 14th and is in a 6/8 angle with the Sun on Dec. 15th. This can create unexpected geopolitical events involving world leaders and government surprises. We have already seen the fall of Assad in Syria today and the fall of the French government the past week. Is more to come?
On the bright side, Jupiter is exalted in the D9 chart in Cancer Navamsha until Dec. 22nd and Jupiter was opposing the Sun exactly from Taurus to Scorpio on Dec. 7th and this adds wisdom to leadership and supports teaching and spiritual wisdom.
Venus opposes Mars from Capricorn to Cancer bringing passion into relationship – but possible fighting. Remember, that’s important to compromise and not have to be right all the time.
Sun moves into the Gandanta area of Scorpio 27-30 on Dec. 12-15th as it prepares to move into Sagittarius to bring Christmas energy into our life. Sun in the Gandanta may bring up deep healing that needs to happen around your father or boss or other mentors in your life.
Full moon in Taurus on Dec. 15th will create full hearts and completions of projects and new beginnings as we get closer to winter.
